I have rec'd PT here a few times and none of my complaints still exist today. The folks are pros, and I'm back for a recent strain. I'm 77, but I expect a lot from my body, as I've experienced good recovery in the past. I have had three therapists, each time I returned I expected the same quality as before. I do my exercises as per the pages provided by the therapist, and I feel this is necessary for my recovery.

Select Physical Therapy is located very conveniently in downtown Berkeley. It took me at least ten years to realize I could do PT there. When you walk in the office you notice all the right equipment ready for exercising. Ryan Napeek, my PT, got to know me and fitted the exercises to my abilities. I really like the way he uses the ankle weights, the stretch bands, and the ball toss. Jordan, administrator, tossed the ball back and forth with me and I didn’t drop the ball. Ryan also had me do floor shuffles to test my balance. And you don’t need to worry about the intake; Jeff is obviously a good administrator. So thank you, Ryan, Jordan and Jeff for a truly heartfelt experience.😀

Our family has had physical therapy at Select Physical Therapy for different injuries and we’ve been completely satisfied. They answer their phone (some places do not and when we’ve left messages we never get a callback), the sessions are one hour, other places only offer 1/2hr. We have found the space to be well lit, comfortable and clean, and the best part for us was our therapist Andrew Monteleone who is caring, professional, answers our emails, and we’ve enjoyed his wry and playful low-key sense of humor.

I was able to work with 2 therapists David Chan first and then Pardis Esmaeili and both of them helped me recover from my knee pain. They were both very knowledgeable and kind in their treatment. I was frustrated with the slow recovery but with their help I could see progress and now I finally feel fully recovered! Thank you both for your patience in working with me. The admin staff also care about your recovery and are efficient in scheduling appointments as needed. They also have an app which I used to track my assigned exercises (better than a paper that would get lost) and I was able to communicate through messages with the therapists. I really appreciate the care I received at Select PT and highly recommend it.

The team at Select PT were professional and very caring. I really felt that the plan they developed for me was very well thought out and individualized for my recovery. Andrew is one of the best physical therapists I've ever worked with and would recommend him and Select PT to any of my friends.

Wonderful physical therapy experience. My shoulder was simply not getting better months after injury, and Bronte quickly identified the correct exercises to help it improve. Their appointments are an hour long and everyone there is friendly, knows what they're talking about, and care for their work. Highly recommend!

Maggie is great. She is gentle and cheerful and attentive and knowledgable and really wants the very best outcome for your health. Ive been seeing her for four weeks now as I recover from knee replacement surgery. I look forward to our sessions every few days as I know I'm in very capable hands. She is super resourceful and has a bag of tricks for getting my knee to bend and straighten and heal in just the right way. Maggie is the best. I recommend her completely!!

Nice facility, therapists with good communication and are friendly, you get a full hour session and get to really work on the problem, convenient location with easy parking ramp across the street. Definitely recommend. And takes most insurance. Appointment scheduling is a bit old school (calls etc) but once you start and get a couple booked, easy to keep adding one more after each session. Not fancy with tech and websites and apps etc, which is a nice to have in my mind.
